  • After morning breakfast and hotel check out, you will proceed to visit Maheshwar. Maheshwar is a historical town on the banks of river Narmada known for temples, mighty fort-complex standing in quiet beauty, mirrored in the river below and distinctive hand-woven sarees called Maheshwari.
  • Later, drive towards Omkareshwar to visit the sacred island, shaped like the holiest of all Hindu symbols, ‘Om’. Omkareshwar is situated on the banks of river Narmada, and is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The significance of this linga is that the linga is not situated below the cupola. The idol of Lord Shiva is situated on the top of the temple. The temple can be reached by ferry from the banks of the river.

 

On Day-2 While travelling to Mandu from Indore first cover Omkareshwar, Maheshwar than take night stay at hotel (Optional)

  • This morning at Omkareshwar you can visit places like Mamaleshwar temple, Kedareshwar temple, Omkareshwar parikrama, Gauri Somnath temple, Ranmukteshwar temple, Shri Omkar mandhata sacred meeting point. (Optional)
  • Thereafter, drive towards Ujjain. Ujjain is a venerated pilgrimage center enshrining Mahakaleshwar, one of the Jyotirlinga manifestations of Shiva. Situated on the banks of the sacred river Shipra, which is the modern name of Ujjaini. It is one of the sacred places of the Hindus, and the Kumbh Mela (religious fair) is held here every twelve years.
  • The major tourist attractions of Ujjain include Bhartruhari Caves, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Chaubis Khamba Temple, Gopal Mandir, Gomti Kund and the Kaliadeh Palace

  • Visit Mahakaleshwar temple for the darshan of Shree Mahakaleshwara. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, the lingam at the Mahakala is believed to be born of itself (swayambhu) deriving currents of power (shakti) from within itself as oppose to the other images and lingams which are ritually established and invested with the mantra-shakti. You can visit places like the Mahakaal lok, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Kaal Bhairav, Mangalnath Temple, Harsiddhi, ISCON Ujjain. Thereafter, drive towards Bhopal.
  • Upon reaching Bhopal, check-in at one our listed hotels. After resting and relaxing for a while in your hotel room, proceed to a sightseeing tour of Bhopal, the magnificent city of Nawabs.   • Early morning, embark on an excursion to Sanchi. It is the famous Buddhist pilgrimage site. This world heritage site houses the stupas which contain relics of Buddha. The major tourist attractions to visit in Sanchi include Great stupa, stupa 3, Ashoka Pillar, Mauryan apsidal, Temple 17. In the eastern area visit temple 45 while in the southern area visit Temple 40. The great stupa in Sanchi was commissioned by Emperor Ashoka.
  • After Sanchi, you will proceed to visit Udayagiri caves, about 15kms from Sanchi close to the town of Vidisha. Udayagiri caves are rock-cut cave shrines, dating from 320-600 A.D.
  • In the evening return to the hotel in Bhopal

  • In the morning after breakfast, leave for a full day excursion to Bhimbetka and Bhojpur.
  • The Bhimbetka rock shelters are located in the foothills of the Vindhyan Mountains. The fiveclusters of natural rock shelters, display paintings that appear to date from the Mesolithic Period. These rock shelters were put on the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 2003.
  • After exploring the Bhimbetka caves drive back to the hotel in Bhopal

  • After breakfast and check out from hotel, drive towards Panchmarhi. En-route and take a halt to visit Bhojpur (28 Km) & Bhimbetka (46 km).
  • Bhojpur, The tiny village of Bhojpur is situated on the bank of river Betwa. Here we will see the remains of magnificent Shiva Temple and Cyclopean dam dated 1010-53 A.D.
  • Bhimbetka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Bhimbetka rock shelters exhibit the earliest traces of human life in India; its Stone Age rock paintings are approximately 9,000 years old, making them among the world’s oldest. Further continuing your drive to reach Pachmarhi. On reaching Pachmarhi, you can visit Gupt Mahadev, Mahadev, Jatahakar, Handi Kho etc if time permits.
  • Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.

  • After breakfast, we will proceed for a full day Pachmarhi sightseeing tour and cover its tourist places in 03 fixed trails (can select any 01 as per your choice) such as:
  • Trail 01 - Museum, Apsara Falls, PanchaliKund, Silver Fall, Point Gufa, Bee Fall, Surya namaskar, Lake Boating, Rajendra Giri.

  • The wonder of Jabalpur lies in its Marble Rocks canyon and the torrential waterfall called Dhuandhar (Fumes of water). Soaring in their glittering splendor, the rocks at Bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on either side of the Narmada River.
  • Enjoy the enticing sight of Marble rocks in the small and old canoe-type ferryboats.

  • Early in the morning, move out to enjoy jeep safari to observe wildlife at the thick and lush green forest of Kanha National Park.
  • The jeep safari provides you with the flexibility to explore especially those places, which are difficult to travel via any other mode of transportation.
  • Single day jeep safari can be done two times a day, one in the early morning hour and other in the late afternoon.

  • Next morning we leave for Bandhavgarh.
  • Upon reaching Bandhavgarh, check-in at one of our listed resorts. After resting for a while at the hotel, proceed to explore the Bandhavgarh fort. Later in the day visit the Baghel Museum. The Baghel Museum preserves the personal belongings of the Maharaja of Rewa. Also visit the Tala village that has many mud houses and abounds with natural landscapes.

  • Wake up early and enjoy the Morning Jungle Safari to Bandhavgarh National Park. It is a small national park with high density of tigers.
  • Thereafter, depart for Khajuraho, which is situated in the Bundelkhand region. This small town is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. The temples of Khajuraho are declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO for their beautiful rock carvings. Enjoy the evening light and sound shows at Khajurhao.
